Detailed description of Shadow Hills Golf Course
Shadow Hills Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Lubbock, Texas.
Shadow Hills Golf Course first opened for play in 1981. The course was designed by Ray Kilgore. The course was redesigned in 1995.
Shadow Hills Golf Course has carefully landscaped fairways including trees and shrubs that are always blooming various colors creating a serene golf setting. The Par-3 #6 hole is their signature hole, while short in length the beauty of the pond and all of the wildlife surrounding it make this hole very unique to West Texas.
The course measures 6,777 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.2 and it has a slope rating of 113 on Bermuda grass.
Golfers of all ages and experience levels will appreciate the layout of this premier golf course.

Great public course. $34 on a weekend is great. Can get a little slow on the weekend. Make sure you take enough club on par 3 #6.
